Reflective

While being in this course it demonstrated how much potential I have. As a person that doesn’t do very well in English, it is big accomplishment knowing that I tried my best in this course. It was hard, because I have never learned these new requirements for example, how to acknowledge the assignments, use the correct platform, and recognize the variety of writing.

As an individual in this course, I learned how to evaluate different stories and know the meaning of how the author wants a person to evaluate the story. A huge part of this course was choosing a social epidemic which was something different and something I have never heard of. My chosen epidemic was depression. I learned different things about depression and how to evaluate it with some of the stories we had in class. It was a challenge to revise a mental health disorder and compare it to a story and see what they have in common. Knowing how I can transform a disorder into a wise story is something I never thought I can do. This course is definitely what you can say “Every year you learn something new.” It inspires what academic knowledge a person has.

This course was one of the hardest courses I have gotten so far. It has made a huge impact on my English writing. I learned things that I never thought had a meaning or even existed. Taking an English course online was a big step and a huge turn in my academic life. I didn’t think it would be possible that I could do good online as I mentioned before I don’t do good in English classes overall. This English course helped me get to a college level in my academic career and made an impact on how to evaluate the meaning behind this course.
